A 21-year-old Sunday school teacher, Stacey Lynn Swartz of Lehighton, is the new Miss Carbon County.

She was crowned with that title today and also received awards for best talent and Miss Congeniality during the pageant held in the Lehighton Area High School.

She was crowned by Susan Elizabeth Flyte of Jim Thorpe, who won the title in November, 1987.

A daughter of Grant and Renelle Mosher of Lehighton, the new Miss Carbon County. a graduate of the World of Life Bible College, N.Y., teaches Sunday school at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Beltzville.
