Route 895 in New Ringgold will remain closed at the railroad crossing for a few more days until paving work can be completed.

The project began Monday and was expected to end Friday; however, paving was put on hold due to the heavy rain.

The new potential finish date is Tuesday. Detour signs remain in place. Motorists will use Cold Run Road and Route 443 to get around the closure.
