Zion Lewistown

Pastor Jim Williams will officiate the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Zion Church Lewistown Valley. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m.

Pastor Kim will share the message of “The Goodness of God” at the 10:30 a.m. service of Calvary Evangelical Church at the Lewistown Valley Tabernacle. There will be a special music presentation by The Gerbers. The Sunday evening praise and worship will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Church benefit

St. John’s Lutheran Church in Tamaqua will receive 10% of the sales at DiMaggio’s La Dolce Casa on Aug. 15 if those dining in or ordering out mention the church’s name. Proceeds will go toward the upgrade of the church kitchen.
