State police at the Pocono barracks reported details of a crash on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:

No one was injured when a car struck a deer at 2:05 p.m. July 3 at mile marker 78.6 in Franklin Township.

Police said Gerard J. Reilly, 38, of Phoenixville, was northbound when the incident happened. He was able to pull the vehicle onto the eastern shoulder of the road.
