Tamaqua police are in search of a tractor trailer operator who snapped off a utility pole Sunday evening along Center Street, Route 309 North. The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. in front of the Family Dollar. The incident also brought several utility lines down. Tamaqua fire police maintained traffic control at the scene reducing Center Street to one lane north. Tamaqua police are investigating the incident.
