State police at Fern Ridge

State police at Fern Ridge reported on several incidents:

• Police are seeking information about damage to a pool fence and pool house gate at the Sierra View Home Owners Association in Chestnuthill Township. Police said the damage were reported at 2:28 p.m. July 10 and are estimated at $250.

• Police are investigating a stalking incident that was reported at 7:52 p.m. July 6. Troopers said someone put a tracker on the undercarriage of a 2010 Toyocar van container trailer. Police seized the device. The people targeted were a 60-year-old man and 59-year-old woman from Brodheadsville.

• Shawn Hayes, 35, of Stroudsburg, was charged with harassment/threaten physical contact after police say he threatened a neighbor on Bush Lane in Jackson Township around 4 p.m. July 12.

• Two children’s mountain bikes were taken from the driveway of a home on Hill Road in Chestnuthill Township between 5 and 5:20 p.m. June 25.

Police said one bike is blue and red, and the other is purple. Each is valued at $100. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 570-646-2271.

• Nalani Rhodes, 19, of Blakeslee, was charged with disorderly conduct after police say she threatened to shoot a 51-year-old Effort woman around 6:44 a.m. July 3.

Troopers said they were called to the Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 115 in Effort for a customer threatening an employee. An investigation revealed that the customer became irate and threatened to return to the store and shoot the woman. Police took the customer into custody and filed charges.

• Police are investigating a theft that was reported on June 5. A Saylorsburg woman sent a check for $4,700 to her landlord to pay her business rent. Police said the check was stolen and later deposited at TD Bank.

• Police charged a 30 year-old man and a 55-year-old woman, both from Brodheadsville, with harassment following a July 22 domestic dispute on Dairy Lane in Chestnuthill Township.

• Police are investigating a theft that occurred from a 63-year-old Albrightsville man.

The man told police on July 16 that he was in contact with an unknown man and sent money to him with gift cards. The man told police that he knew he was being scammed as multiple similar incidents have occurred but that he sent the money anyway.
