The U.S. Postal Service will have nearly 500 post offices throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware ready to greet applicants from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday in an aggressive move to ensure it is ready to handle the holidays.
“We are looking to fill 400 positions with a salary range of $19.33 to $35.48 an hour,” said Julie Campbell, the Human Resources Manager for the districts. “This is a great opportunity to learn about the many positions we have available. There’s something for everyone.”
Jobs available include city carriers, rural carriers, clerks, maintenance and motor vehicle.
“If you want to help us Deliver for America, we can deliver terrific benefits for you,” USPS spokesman Paul F. Smith said. “Virtually all the major post offices in the ZIP code range of 180-199 will have staff on hand to assist, encompassing two dozen counties in PA as well as the state of Delaware.”
