SCHUYLKILL COUNTY COURT

The following defendants were recently sentenced in Schuylkill County Court:

• Nadir Khalil Muhammed, 30, of Mahanoy City, was sentenced by Judge Charles M. Miller to four to 10 years in state prison on sex charges.

Muhammed was sentenced to two to five years on the initial charge, and then to a similar sentence on a charge connected to an 11-year-old to run consecutively with the first charge.

He was then sentenced to four to 10 years on a charge concerning an 11-year-old that is to run concurrent, or at the same time, for a total of four to 10 years.

• Joseph Henry Kalbarczyk, 26, of Tamaqua, was sentenced by Judge Charles M. Miller to six months to five years in jail on driving under the influence, drugs and related vehicle charges.

He was also ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and another $450 in costs, plus court costs. His driver’s license was suspended for 18 months, and his vehicle ignition will undergo a 12-month interlock. He will also have to serve 20 hours of community service.

• Santos Joseph Rodriguez, 23, of Mahanoy City, was sentenced by Judge Charles M. Miller to six months to 23 months in jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault-bodily injury with a deadly weapon, harassment, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.

• Phillip Michael Ryan IV, 35, of Tamaqua, was ordered by Judge Christina E. Hale to pay a $50 fine, court costs, a $50 monthly supervision fee and another $100 on a charge of disorderly conduct leveled by Tamaqua police.

• Nicole Marie Fisher, 32, of New Boston-Morea, was ordered to pay $350 plus a $50 monthly supervision fee on a charge of defiant trespass.

• Thomas Kresge, 48, of Lehighton, was ordered by Judge Charles M. Miller to pay $1,196.46 in restitution to Lowe’s, plus $500 and a monthly $50 supervision fee on a charge of retail theft.

• Christopher Lance Buck, 38, of Frackville, was ordered by Judge Charles M. Miller to serve two to 12 months in prison on a charge of evading arrest or detention on foot.

He was also ordered to pay $400 plus a $50 monthly supervision fee.

Buck was also sentenced to four to 12 months on a charge of flight to avoid apprehension, trial or punishment.

He was also ordered to pay $400 in costs plus the $50 monthly supervision fee.
