July 29, 1991 — Summit Hill rallies from a huge deficit to pull out an 8-7 Panther Valley Little League tournament victory over Nesquehoning. Mike Mattrazzo finishes with three hits — including a home run — to pace the winners, who trailed at one point 6-0. Billy Hricisin delivers a two-run double and scores on an RBI single by Brad Nevenglosky to start the Summit Hill comeback. Mattrazzo’s solo homer makes it 6-4, while Ron Yuricheck’s two-run single ties the game in the third inning. The go-ahead run comes in on a Mike Crampsie sacrifice fly, while Mattrazzo’s RBI single produces a needed insurance tally. Nesquehoning receives four hits from both Mike Davis and Joe Jachowicz.
