Northern Valley received a forfeit to keep its postseason dreams alive in the Pennsylvania State Connie Mack Tournament on Sunday.

Nazareth-N. Valley
The 7-0 forfeit victory over Nazareth moved Northern Valley to 2-1 in the double-elimination tournament and setup a loser’s bracket game against Hellertown tonight at 5 p.m. in Limeport.
N. Valley-Morelanders
Morelanders handed Northern Valley an 11-3 loss on Saturday in the winner’s bracket quarterfinals of the 12-team tournament.
The winners scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning, and added a run in the second and fifth to build a 9-0 advantage. Luca Nardone led Morelanders with three hits in four at-bats with two RBIs. Matt Logerstedt also had two hits, while Zach O’Connor and Chase Rampulla each drove in two runs. Rampulla earned the win, striking out four and scattering seven hits over five-and-two-thirds innings of work.
Jayden Christman, Brayden Buskirk and Kaden Moyer each drove in one run for the Chargers, who scored twice in the top of the sixth and a run in the seventh. Moyer was 3-for-4, while Christman finished 2-for-3.
