Residents of the Lake Harmony community were encouraged to support the Lake Harmony Volunteer Fire Company as its personnel continues to improve upon emergency capabilities.
This was the message conveyed by A.J. Heightman, executive director of the Eastern Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services Council during the formal dedication of the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad and Ambulance Corps’ newest equipment, a 1986 Excellence Golden Eagle Type III ambulance and a 1974 GMC rescue truck.
The ceremony took place at the fire company headquarters and was preceded by a parade that originated at the Split Rock Lodge Galleria resort facility.
