The University of Tampa honored 2,221 students who were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester. Students must maintain a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the list.

Two local students were named to the list:

Tamaqua: Cian McLaughlin, a freshman majoring in data science.

Slatington: Bianca Carrion, a sophomore majoring in chemistry.

The University of Tampa has about 200 programs of study and serves more than 11,000 students from 50 states and most of the world’s countries.
