Tamaqua police will host Tamaqua’s National Night Out from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 6.

The community event will be held at the lot behind the American Hose Fire Company at Pine and Mauch Chunk streets, across from Stoker’s Brewing Company. There will be complimentary food and ice cream, music, a bounce house and entertainment for all ages.

Police and emergency responders will display vehicles at the free event.
