Tamaqua police reported the following incidents:
• Jennifer DiPietro, 41, of Tamaqua, was charged with disorderly conduct by Tamaqua police following an incident at 10:14 p.m. Saturday.
Police were called to a report of a woman yelling and screaming in an East Broad Street business parking lot. Officers saw DiPietro yelling but no one was nearby.
She was asked to stop and leave the area. Police said she made her way east but continued yelling. Officers followed and saw an elderly man exit his house to check on the noise.
DiPietro was taken into custody and cited for disorderly conduct.
• A Tamaqua man who police say was under the influence of a drug threw a water bottle at officers and knocked the contents from a restaurant counter onto the floor during an incident at 10:36 a.m. Saturday.
Tamaqua police charged Anthony Clymer, 18, with causing a disturbance.
According to police, officers were dispatched to a report of Clymer jumping on cars and removing his clothing near Greenwood and East Broad streets.
Officers approached Clymer in front of Luigi’s Pizza Shop, where several people were trying to reason with him.
Police said it appeared that Clymer was under the influence. Officers said they drew a stun gun and ordered Clymer to the ground. He looked at the officer and ran into Luigi’s, where he threw the water bottle. Police said he then started to push everything from a counter in the officer’s direction. He was ordered to stop but did not.
Police said they deployed the stun gun twice to subdue Clymer.
Police took Clymer into custody and transported him to St. Luke’s-Miners for evaluation.
Clymer later told police that he had taken LSD and did not remember anything after Friday evening. Officers stayed with Clymer at the hospital for about five hours then filed the charges.
