A helicopter pilot escaped injury Friday afternoon in a crash in Hegins Township, Schuylkill County. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. near 98 Wood Lane just south of Deep Creek Road. The pilot was flying a crop duster when he hit a power line. The craft went down in the middle of a cornfield. The pilot was able to exit the craft without injury. The FAA has been called to investigate the incident.
