State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:
• Ann M. Depinto, 63, of Stroudsburg, was uninjured in a one-vehicle incident at 7:45 a.m. July 3 on Route 115 in Ross Township.
Police said she was driving a 2021 Jeep Cherokee southbound when a bear entered the roadway and was struck by the car. The car was towed from the scene.
Police said Depinto refused medical treatment at the scene.
They said the bear was successfully recovered by a state game warden.
• A 2012 Toyota Yaris, owned by Richard M. Gross II, 65, of Weissport, was damaged in an incident reported at 12:25 p.m. June 26.
He told police he legally parked the vehicle on the northern shoulder of the street at about 6 p.m. June 25 and found it was struck in the rear by a vehicle that left the scene.
• Clevonne K. Gregory, 46, of Effort, was cited for stop signs/yield signs after a two-vehicle crash at 4:54 p.m. July 16 at the intersection of Penn Forest Road and Pohopoco Drive in Towamensing Township. No one was injured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2008 Infiniti west on Pohopoco Drive that struck the rear of a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Lynn G. Rudelitch, 48, of Kunkletown, who had stopped at the posted stop sign at the intersection of Penn Forest Road.
Police said the Infiniti had disabling damages.
