State Police at Fern Ridge

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 56-year-old man from Effort reported a theft incident that happened between 5:28 a.m. June 29 and 5:26 a.m. July 1.

Police said they were called to a property on Elderberry Lane in Chestnuthill Township, where the victim reported someone accessed his Amazon account and made six fraudulent purchases totaling $206.

• Jacqueline Audett, 19, of Kunkletown, is facing charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police after an incident at 3:07 a.m. July 7 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said she was driving a 2019 Volkswagen they attempted to pull over for a traffic violation. She led police on a pursuit that covered about 2 miles and ended in the area of Route 209 and Old Route 115.

Police said Audett was combative and argumentative and resisted arrest, until she was taken into custody for suspicion of driving while under the influence of a controlled substance.

Police said they received consent to search the vehicle, which resulted in them finding drug paraphernalia and a smoking device that contained drug residue.
