Philly man falsified documents

A Philadelphia man is facing charges for tampering with official records on a vehicle.

Jesus Manuel Rucci, 43, was also charged with tampering and falsifying documents.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Pocono Patrol Unit, on July 15, troopers observed an unattended vehicle parked on the shoulder of Interstate 476 northbound at mile marker 70.4 in Washington Township, Lehigh County.

A check of the vehicle showed that the temporary paper registration plate had been altered and that the inspection sticker was fake.

The vehicle was identified as a 2007 Jeep Commander, which had been purchased on July 14 through an online service called I-Offer.

Troopers identified the victim, who reported that shortly after purchasing the vehicle, it stopped running due to a possible cracked head gasket.
