Kevin Vitti, a 2016 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School and a 2020 graduate of Bloomsburg University, was a standout linebacker for the Olympians’ football team during his four-year career.

Vitti’s accolades included Schuylkill County Football Coaches Association (SCFCA) first team linebacker, SCFCA North Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Super 16 Dream Team honoree, Times News Linebacker of the Year, Anthracite League first team linebacker, PA Mini Maxwell Team honoree and Republican Herald first team linebacker.

Vitti went on to continue his athletic career at Bloomsburg University ,where he was a three-year starter for the Huskies at tight end.

The Jim Thorpe Hall of Fame Banquet will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. at the Jim Thorpe Area High School.

The 2024 JTAHS Class of 2024 also includes: Kayley Kovac, Joe Eichhorn Sr., Brooke Cope, Kelsey Carroll and the 2015 Boys Track & Field Team.
