Dinner tonight

Zion Lutheran Church, Brodheadsville, will be hosting its monthly community dinner from 5-6 tonight. It is a drive-through pickup event.

The menu includes 2 hot dogs, pasta salad, baked beans, chips, watermelon and dessert.

Karaoke Night

At 7 p.m. Friday, the American Legion Post 927 will hold its Karaoke Night.

Baseball special

It’s Hot Dogs and Baseball with Pirates & Phillies from 6 to 8 p.m. at the American Legion Post 927 on Saturday. There is a cost.

Polk picnic coming

The Polk Volunteer Fire Company is having its community picnic from 1 to 8 p.m., Saturday. The rain date is Sunday. Children 6 to 12 and adults have a fee. Children 5 and under are free.

A DJ will be there from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The band, Last One Standing, will play 4 to 8 p.m.

It will include picnic foods, BBQ chicken dinner and a pig roast. There will be a cake walk and raffles all day.

Community Fest

St. Peter’s UMC, Saylorsburg, will hold its 2nd Annual Community Fest from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

The public can connect with local nonprofit organizations for information and services. Children will have a host of activities.

Freely Given and The Make a Joyful Noise Country Gospel Band will perform.

Attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket. There is no charge for the activities.

The church is located next to Dollar General on Route 115.
