Letter to the editor: Distance ourselves from ‘politics as usual’ fraternity

Dear Editor,

I just got a request in the mail for a donation to Donald Trump’s campaign, and I sent one.

The regular, career, politicians are a fraternity that feeds on the hard work of the taxpayer. They talk, and talk, for years (decades) about taxpayer concerns, such as alternative methods for funding our schools, yet nothing changes because career politicians answer to their special interest supporters, not us, the taxpayer/voter.

Enough people have been awakened now. Government aggression against Trump and his supporters is now obvious. They don’t want a problem solver in White House. Trump is a businessman who faces problems daily that need immediate solutions. That is where we are right now. We have many, many, challenges that need immediate resolution. This is why we need to distance ourselves from the “politics as usual” fraternity. They worry about themselves first, not us.
