An event that brings together animal care education and resources for residents of Carbon County has been postponed.
The 14th annual Rockin’ Rescue, originally scheduled to take place Friday through Sunday in Mahoning Township, has been rescheduled.
Donna Crum, president of the Blue Mountain Animal Rescue Society and Carbon County Animal Cruelty Fund, said the event has been rescheduled for the weekend of Sept. 20.
Crum, who is also the founder of the Rockin’ Rescue, said the location for the event will be announced at a later date.
Sponsored by Blue Mountain Animal Rescue and Blue Mountain Adoption Center, the event will feature entertainment, food, a Summer Delight Bakery homemade live auction with vendors, rescuers, a flea market, silent auction, and 50/50s.
