The Rev. Robert J. Roberts, and his wife, the former Jane Stewart of Lansford, were honored during a farewell congregational covered-dish social in the social hall of the First Presbyterian Church on Saturday evening.

Rev. Roberts, who served the Summit Hill Presbyterian Church for the past seven years, was presented a sterling silver personal Communion set by Elder Warren Strauss of Lansford on behalf of the congregation.

Mrs. Roberts, who served as a Sunday school teacher, was presented a gold pen and pencil set by Mary Elizabeth Beltz, secretary-treasurer of the Sunday school on behalf of that organization.
