Carbon County commissioners remind residents that Carbon County Animal Shelter will be holding its annual yard sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at shelter in Nesquehoning.

Commissioner Rocky Ahner said that yard sale is one of the events that really does help the shelter raise funds.

“I’m really hoping everyone get to it,” he said.

The shelter is located at 63 Broad St., on the county complex off Route 93 on the Broad Mountain.
