July 11, 2016 — Ben Cordova pitches a six-hitter, allowing just one earned run, as Northern Valley defeats South Parkland 4-3 to capture the Lehigh Valley Legion championship. Cordova strikes out two and works through a pair of third-inning errors that helps plate three runs. Josh Williamson delivers an RBI single in the second inning to give the Chargers a 2-0 lead. After falling behind, the winners take the lead for good in the fifth. Northern Valley, coached by Brad Rauch, loads the bases on walks to Kole Rodriguez and Cordova and a hit by pitch to Tyler Wiik. A throwing error brings in two runs, which proves to be the difference. Williamson ends with two hits.
