Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

Looking ahead

• Vacation Sunday school: Children ages 4 through sixth grade are invited to participate in crafts, Bible studies and more in July and August. The classes are held at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays.

• July 10: Prayer and Praise, 7 p.m.

• July 12 and 13: Bowman Park services at 7 p.m.

• July 14: CEF special program for children will be held at 9:45 a.m. Combined Sunday school for adults in Leah’s room. Bowman Park service at 7 p.m. There will be a special worship guest speaker, Pastor Lee Adams, during both the 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship times.

ABC Food Pantry: donations of canned goods and nonperishable food items can be dropped off in the church lobby.

New Sunday school series begins at 9:45 a.m. on July 21. Adult Bible class in Leah’s Room with Lee Smith.

Sacred Heart Church

Sacred Heart Church Social Hall, 243 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, will hold a cash bingo on July 14. Doors and kitchen open at noon and bingo begins at 1 p.m.
