The Coaldale VFW will be hosting the MilitaryShare Program Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the post home 1 E. Ridge St.

The program through the Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank provides fresh, nutritious foods for families with at least one member who has served or is serving the armed forces.

Each eligible family will receive various food items each month consisting of dry goods, produce, dairy, etc., based upon availability.

Registration is required by contacting Gail Sweigart at 717-836-6317, or Gail.M.Swigart.clv@army.mil. Families throughout the area with at least one member who served or is serving are welcome.

The MilitaryShare Program will be offered the second Tuesday of each month from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Coaldale VFW through the end of the year.
