State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

* Robert Alan Teijaro II, no age or address listed, was charged with defiant trespassing after police responded to an incident at 6:35 a.m. June 22 on Eleanor Avenue, Mahanoy Township.

Police said they were called to a business at the above address for a report of a man walking around the property, rummaging through scrap metal and other items and refused to leave the premises when requested to do so by employees of the business.

He was taken into custody without incident, police said.

• Gavyn Datchko, 21, of Delano, was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, after police apprehended him at 2:21 p.m. June 20 on the Trenton Road in Delano Township.

Police said there was an active felony warrant against Datchko, who was observed near a garage at the above location. He ran from police and entered a shed where he was taken into custody.

He was arraigned on the warrant and a charge of flight to avoid apprehension and was jailed on $50,000 straight cash bail on both charges.

• A 38-year-old Sugarloaf woman is facing drug possession charges after police took her into custody on active warrants at 12:15 a.m. June 19 on Bayview Avenue in Kline Township.

Police said drugs and drug paraphernalia were discovered on her during a search incident to the warrant arrest.

• Jonathan Evanco, 30, of McAdoo, was charged with harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic incident at 7:18 a.m. June 21 in East Monroe Street in McAdoo.

A 35-year-old woman from McAdoo got into an argument with Evanco. Police said it turned physical when Evanco bit the woman on the forehead and left the scene.

• Police are investigating the theft of an air conditioning unit on Wiggan Street in New Philadelphia.

A 34-year-old man from the borough reported the theft at 4:54 p.m. June 22.

• A 76-year-old Lehighton man was the victim of a harassment by physical contact incident. Police were called to the residence at 9:23 a.m. June 22 but the man refused to cooperate with police in the prosecution of the assailant.

It happened on West Laurel Street in Frackville where the man reported he was struck in the genitals with a wet towel.
