The Carbon County Economic Development Foundation held election of officers last week, naming its leaders to two-year terms.

Elected officers and as executive board members are John Hanosek, president; Paul J. Canevari, vice president; Mark Sverchek, treasurer; Toni Artuso, secretary; and Jane F. Engler, member of the board of directors.

Directors also include William Bechdolt, Earl Schneider, Ronald Tirpak and Craig Zurn.

The goal of the foundation is to create a vehicle for charitable-minded individuals and other entities to make contributions for the benefit of economic development.
