State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• Stephen Hunsicker, 56, of Slatington, is facing charges of simple harassment after police were called to an incident at 2:31 p.m. June 26 at 6219 Hickory Road, Washington Township.

Police said the victims are a 49-year-old woman from Slatington and a 17-year-old girl from Washington Township.

Police said the woman said Hunsicker, who she identified as her boyfriend of nine years, attempted to hurt her by body checking her and throwing metal dog bowls at her. They said the daughter reported Hunsicker grabbed her mother’s arms as she was yelling at home to let go of her dog, as he was grabbing the dog by its hair, lifting its front legs off the ground.

Police said when the girl began yelling at Hunsicker he elbowed her in the chin.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.

• A 30-year-old woman from Palmerton and a 29-year-old man from Schnecksville were cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic incident at 3:40 p.m. June 17 on Route 873 in North Whitehall Township.

Police said the woman told them she was involved in a verbal/physical altercation with her fiance that resulted in him striking her in the face. Upon contacting the man, he told police the woman was the aggressor, showing them visible injuries he suffered to multiple extremities.
