Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters recently:

Resignations

• Brenda Rudolph, lunchroom monitor, Peters Elementary School, last day June 5.

• Elivonne Nehmeh, confidential administrative assistant to the superintendent at the administration office, last day June 7.

• Katherine Farber, high school special education Life Skills teacher, last day June 7.

Appointments

• Matthew Klipple, temporary professional employee, elementary special education teacher, $56,350, effective Aug. 20.

• Emma Thomson, high school office paraprofessional, $14.72 per hour, 5.5 hours per day, 180 student days, on or about Aug. 20.

• Dale Wanamaker, supervisor for the summertime maintenance/custodial helpers at a salary of $15 per hour.

• Summer Program Positions: Tim Weaber, Bulldog Academy facilitator, at the Collective Bargaining Agreement current rate per hour, with completion of program premium pay up to $1,000.

KinderQuest Program Positions (funded through grant)

• Marshelle George, Susanne Hegedus, and Michelle Siesko, teachers, Tracy Hoffman, nurse, and Kelly Kromer, counselor, all at the Collective Bargaining Agreement current rate of $35 per hour, and Michelle Horn-Schramel, paraprofessional, $16.39 an hour, and Sheila White, paraprofessional, $17.16 an hour.

Assistant Athletic Director

• Continue the employment of Joe Tout as assistant athletic director, at a stipend of $4,500, an increase of $1,00. He will assist the athletic director in all athletic director duties and responsibilities, and will be responsible for athletic fundraising activities. During the years of July 2025 through June of 2027, he will receive a salary increase equal to the approved percentage listed in the approved Collective Bargaining Agreement Article X - Supplemental Contracts.

Salary adjustments

• Acknowledged that teachers moved up steps: Amanda Bariana, $3,900 yearly increase, Sarah Fink, $3,800 yearly increase, and Amber Zion, $3,400 yearly increase.

Employee status

• Charles George, Manuel Gonzalez, Katelyn Hugo, Samantha Lilly, Amy Shonk, Kay Solderitch, and Gabryella Wilder for having satisfactorily completed three years of service to the district.

Other

• Superintendent Dr. Matthew J. Link to appoint qualified personnel to vacant positions during the period of time from June 11 through the next regularly scheduled board meeting.

• Director Gary Fedorcha as the district school board representative to the Northern Lehigh Education Foundation.
