State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:
• Theodore J. Jaje Jr., 50, of Kunkletown, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 3:44 p.m. June 18 on Interchange Road in Polk Township.
Police said he was driving a 2003 Chevrolet S10 northbound when he swerved from its lane, went off the northbound shoulder and struck a utility pole. The truck was towed from the scene, police said. No one was hurt in the crash.
• A 42-year-old Kunkletown man reported a theft by deception case.
Police were called to Penn Forest Road North, Towamensing Township, where the man reported to police at noon May 21 that someone used the man’s Social Security number to open a credit card in his name. He did not incur any loss, police said.
• A 36-year-old woman from Kunkletown is involved in a theft by deception/wire fraud incident police were called to at 9:35 a.m. May 3 on Interchange Road in Towamensing Township.
Police said she was convinced to send an unknown person $2,500 through Zelle and $800 through Cashapp.
