Elsewhere, Palmerton posted a victory in LV Senior Connie Mack play on Wednesday.

Franklin Township built an early lead en route to a 10-4 win over Lehigh Township in Lehigh Valley Junior Connie Mack play.

Brayden Ulshafer was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, a run scored and a walk for Franklin, which led 5-0 after the top of the third inning. L. Bellis had a double and scored a run for Franklin, which also saw Cash White (run scored), Brock Atwood (run scored), Landan Steigerwalt (two runs scored) and Alex Kish collect a hit and an RBI for the winners.

Braylon Hunsicker started and went five and two thirds innings, striking out seven. White closed the door with a perfect inning and a third in relief, striking out one.

W. Burrell doubled among his two hits for Lehigh Township.

Lower Mac-Palmerton

Palmerton jumped on Lower Macungie early and cruised to an 8-0 win in four innings in Lehigh Valley Senior Connie Mack action Wednesday.

Luke Matsko delivered an RBI single, Brady Reph connected for an RBI double and Corey Serfass came through with a two-run inside-the-park home run to help the Bombers (6-5) build a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. Palmerton added four more runs in the third, with Matsko scoring, Jared Grammes hitting a triple, Serfass producing a sacrifice fly and Lucian Sterling hitting an RBI single. Serfass finished with three RBIs and Reph two, while Matsko went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Mason Becker earned the win on the mound, striking out three and allowing one hit without surrendering a walk in three innings. Becker also tripled in the win.

Lower Macungie falls to 2-10 with the loss.
