The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M – Fogelsville Station is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on Wednesday.

At 11:43 a.m., troopers from Fogelsville were dispatched to I-78 Eastbound, Mile Marker 58.4, Allentown for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and tractor trailer.

It was determined, a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle, operated by Edgar J. Guadarrama Jaimes, 30, from Coopersburg, Lehigh County, a Freightliner tractor trailer, operated by a 42-Year-Old man and a 2015 Honda Pilot, operated by a 58-year-old man from Harleysville, Montgomery County were involved.

The operator of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased on-scene at 1:25 p.m. by the Lehigh County coroner.

The operator of the Tractor Trailer and Honda Pilot were not injured.

I-78 Eastbound was reopened at the crash scene at 3:40 p.m.
