State police at Frackville reported the following:

• A 91-year-old Ringtown man died in a riding mower incident that happened at 11:30 a.m. June 5 on Brandonville Road, Union Township.

Police said he was riding the mower when it overturned into a creek, pinning him underneath it. They said lifesaving attempts were unsuccessful.

• Angel Rosario, 23, of Ashland, was cited for assault after police responded to an incident at 10:57 a.m. June 13 on Centre Street, Ashland.

Police said the other person involved is a 23-year-old woman from Ashland.
