Police seek witnesses to Route 22 crash

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M Bethlehem Station is investigating a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash that occurred on Monday on Route 22.

At 12:44 a.m., troopers were dispatched to Route 22 Westbound, mile marker 319.6, for a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and sedan.

Police said a 2020 white Toyota Camry and a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle had crashed causing the 28-year-old operator of the motorcycle to be transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest for serious injuries.

The operator and the three passengers in the Camry were not injured.

This crash is being investigated by the PSP Bethlehem Patrol Unit. Assisting with this crash: Troop M Collision Analysis Reconstruction Unit, Troop M Forensic Services Unit, Cetronia Ambulance and Stews Towing.

All traffic during this investigation was detoured onto 15th Street.

All lanes westbound were reopened at 4:52 a.m.
