State police at Schuylkill Haven - crashes

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the following crashes:

• Ethan Navatier-Bickhart, 23, of Tamaqua, was cited for crashes involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property after a one-vehicle crash at 2:32 a.m. June 7 on the New Philadelphia Road in West Brunswick Township. He was uninjured.

Police said he was driving a 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan northbound when it left the road, hit an embankment and overturned. He told police he lost his cellphone in the crash and walked home, relating his parents told him they would call a tow truck operator in the morning. The driver showed no signs of impairment, police said. They were unaware if he was injured.

• Wyatt F. Herrmann, 22, of Auburn, sustained suspected serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 5:16 p.m. May 12 on Market Street (Route 895) in West Brunswick Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven Area EMS unit to he Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.

Police said he was driving a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja westbound when it crossed over the eastbound lane, left the road and struck an embankment.

The cycle had disabling damages and was towed from the scene.

Police said Herrman was cited for the crash.

* Three people had minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 5:06 p.m. June 5 at the intersection of Route 61 and Penn Street in West Brunswick Township.

Injured were Anthony C. Carroll, 79, of Orwigsburg, the driver of one of the vehicles, Sharon L. Carroll, 78, also of Orwigsburg, who was a passenger, and a 13-year-old girl from New Ringgold who was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Starr L. Gerber, 21, of New Ringgold.

Police said Sharon Carroll was transported by personnel from the Auburn Fire Company ambulance to the Geisinger-St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg. Anthony Carroll and the girl were not transported from the scene.

Police said the crash occurred when Gerber, driving a 2015 Honda CRV northbound attempted to make a U-turn onto Route 61 south and struck a 2019 BMW driven by Carroll.

Police said the Honda had minor damages and was driven from the scene while the BMW was towed from the scene.

They said Gerber was cited for limitations on turning around.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle mishap at 4:14 p.m. June 13 at the intersection of Drehersville and Coal Mountain roads in West Brunswick Township.

Police said it happened when a 2008 Subaru Forester driven by Sarah L. Greblick, 18, of Orwigsburg, traveling west on Drehersville Road, failed to stop at a stop sign due to texting communications device and struck a 1998 Toyota Tacoma driven by Joshua A. Payne, 34, of Orwigsburg. Police said the Forester had minor damages and was driven from the scene while the Tacoma was towed from the scene.

They said Greblick was cited for the crash.
