State police at Frackville - crashes

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Sebastian G. Kollie, 54, of Ewing, New Jersey, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 11:47 a.m. June 11 on the Wildcat Road in Walker Township.

Police said he was driving a 2019 Mack Truck northbound when he lost control of it, and the vehicle began to travel in reverse. They said it left the roadway, struck a tree, and its trailing unit rolled over.

The rig had to be removed from the scene.

Kollie was cited after the crash.

• The driver of a 2010 Jeep Liberty that was involved in a crash at 5:10 p.m. June 14 on Barnesville Drive in Ryan Township was cited for the crash.

Police said the vehicle was eastbound and traveling at a speed greater than reasonable considering heavy rainfall when it exited the travel lane, crossed the westbound lane and struck several mailboxes before coming to rest in the parking lot of Lakeside Park Beverage.

Police did not identify the driver but said the driver was uninjured.

• No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 6:06 a.m. June 15 on Lizard Creek Road in West Penn Township.

Police said John L. Musante, 81, of New Ringgold, driving a 2023 Hyundai Sonata eastbound, attempted to pass a 2012 Ford F-350 operated by Ethan G. Vega, 22, of Blakeslee, as the truck turned on its left turn signal to pass a construction vehicle, resulting in the Sonata striking the truck.
