June 21, 2013 - Tamaqua’s Brett Kosciolek and Pleasant Valley’s Danny Hrbek both contribute to Lehigh Valley earning a 7-5 victory over Olympic/Colonial in the quarterfinal round of the annual Carpenter Cup Classic. Kosciolek enters in relief of Stroudsburg’s Mike Nikorak and pitches three scoreless innings. After allowing a single to the first batter he faces, Kosciolek retires nine in a row - including three by strikeout. Hrbek finishes 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI to help Lehigh Valley advance to the semifinal round at Citizens Bank Park.
