Frankie Valli and other summer entertainment on tap

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame acts Frankie Valli and The Beach Boys lead the variety of entertainment set to fill local and regional venues over the next two weeks.

Valli, with The Four Seasons, brings his “Last Encores” tour to Bethlehem’s Wind Creek Event Center. The Beach Boys, with co-founder Mike Love, will play Easton’s State Theatre.

Also in the Lehigh Valley, Brooks & Dunn - 2019 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee - plays the PPL Center. Country also comes to Carbon County, with Tyler Farr at Penn’s Peak and Lizzie No at Mauch Chunk Opera House. The latter will also host comedian Mike E. Winfield, known for his stints on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

• Los Lonely Boys, 8 p.m. June 28. Formed in San Antonio, the “Texican” rock band, featuring the Garza brothers, scored its biggest success with 2004 debut single “Heaven.”

• Tyler Farr, 8 p.m. July 5. Born in Garden City, Missouri, the country singer released debut album “Redneck Crazy” in 2013. Farr released his latest EP, “Rednecks Like Me,” in 2023.

• Victor Wainwright & The Train, 8 p.m. June 27. Born in Savannah, Georgia. Wainwright released his debut album “Piana from Savannah” in 2013. The blues/boogie-woogie singer-songwriter released “Memphis Loud,” his latest album with The Train, in 2020.

• Lizzie No, 8 p.m. June 28. The folk/country singer-songwriter, born in New Jersey, released debut album “Hard Won” in 2017, with latest “Halfsies” arriving earlier this year.

• Mike E. Winfield, 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. June 29. The Baltimore comedian/actor was a finalist on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and spinoff “All Stars” in 2022 and 2023, respectively.

• J.P. Henry: “The Things That I See” Gallery Reception, 6 p.m. July 2.; exhibit on display through July 27 Henry, a lifelong Maryland resident, uses his mother’s cellphone to take photographs, which capture extreme attention to detail resulting from his autism.

• Nancy and Spencer Reed, 7 p.m. July 5. The husband-and-wife duo, performing rarely heard tunes and jazz standards, started a musical collaboration as teens in New York City.

• Brooks & Dunn, 7 p.m. June 28. Formed in 1990 in Nashville, Tennessee, the country duo features Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn. Books & Dunn released its 11th and latest studio album “Reboot” in 2019. The duo scored 41 top 10s at country radio, with 20 hitting No. 1. Brooks & Dunn‘s hits include “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” “My Maria” and “Red Dirt Road.”

• Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, 8 p.m. today. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Valli formed The Four Seasons in 1960. The vocal group’s hits include “Sherry,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “December, 1963 (Oh What A Night).” Valli also scored solo hits, such as “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, “My Eyes Adored You” and “Grease.”

• John Legend, 8 p.m. Saturday. Born in Springfield, Ohio, the singer-songwriter and actor released his debut album “Get Lifted” in 2004, with his ninth, “Legend,” arriving in 2022. The musician’s hit singles include “Ordinary People,” “All of Me” and “Love Me Now.”

• Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, 7 p.m. July 2. Born in Williamsburg, Virginia, Hornsby released three albums with The Range from 1986 to 1990, scoring hits such as “The Way It Is, “Mandolin Rain” and “The Valley Road.” The pianist, who has six albums with his touring act The Noisemakers, released his most recent solo set, “’Flicted,” in 2022.

• The Beach Boys, 7:30 p.m. June 27. Formed in 1961 in Hawthorne, California, the rock group features co-founder Mike Love. The Beach Boys - originally featuring Wilson brothers Brian, Carl and Dennis, cousin Love and school friend Al Jardine - scored hits such as “Surfin’ U.S.A.,” “California Girls,” “Good Vibrations” and “Kokomo.”

• Baroness, 7 p.m. June 30. Formed in Savannah, Georgia, the heavy metal band released its debut studio set “Red Album” in 2007, with its sixth studio album, “Stone,” out in 2023.

• “My Fair Lady,” through July 7. In the classic musical, a professor bets his linguistic colleague that he can pass off “gutter snipe” Eliza Doolittle as a duchess at an embassy ball.

• “A Year With Frog and Toad,” through July 6. Based on Arnold Lobel’s children’s books, the musical tells the story of two best friends: the cheerful Frog and curmudgeonly Toad.
