Have a bored teenager? The Tamaqua Public Library has the solution.

The library will offer a free summer teen program beginning today.

The program features weeks of travel adventures, adventures in nature, adventures in imagination, puzzles, scavenger hunts and mysteries, adventures close to home, and adventures in the dark!

The sessions will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays at the library, at 30 S. Railroad St., Tamaqua.

The library has something planned for 6 to 8-year-olds, but cardboard boxes are need.

Save your cardboard boxes of any size and drop them off at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St., Tamaqua, on July 6 or July 8 only.
