NL Community Bash

The Northern Lehigh Community Bash will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Slatington Skeet Club Grove, 8112 Skeet Club Road.

Support the Northern Lehigh Swimming Pool Association and the Slatington Lions Club and come out to the event, which includes steak or chicken platter, Chinese auction, disc jockey and dancing.

Thirsty Thursday

The Venture Group of Slatington will be having Thirsty Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Slatington Trailhead, 95 Main St., Slatington. The group will host Jeni Hackett, acoustic singer, and a basket raffle.

The event benefits the upkeep of trail heads and Heritage Trails in the area. For information, call 610-360-8069.

Slatington Fire Dept. Community Day

The Slatington Fire Department will be doing a Community Day from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the fire station, 524 W. Church St. Dine and donate to the Slatington Volunteer Fire Company.

Grill Life Barbeque will be preparing food, and there will be craft vendors, cotton candy and a dunk tank.
