Northern Lehigh graduate Caitlin Kirk was recently named the King’s College Track and Field Rookie of the Year.
Kirk finished the season with a 13th-place finish with a toss of 10.07 meters at the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Kirk competed in five out of a possible nine meets as a first year thrower for the Monarchs. She had a podium finish with a fifth-place result with a personal best throw of 45.08 meters in the hammer throw at MAC Championships May 2.
She recorded a personal best mark of 10.76 meters in the shot put at the Monarch Open April 27. Kirk posted a personal best toss of 35.55 meters in the discus throw at the Misericordia Invitational April 19.
King’s earned its highest team finish, placing fourth out of 16 scoring teams with 78 points at the MAC Championships.
