Wilkes University Graduation
Wilkes University awarded over 700 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees at its 77th spring commencement ceremonies on May 18. Graduate students received doctoral and master’s degrees at 10 a.m., while undergraduates received bachelor’s degrees at 3 p.m. Both ceremonies were held in the McHale Athletic Center in the Simms Center on Main, 169 S. Main St. in Wilkes-Barre.
• Blakeslee: Brandon Thomson, Bachelor of Arts in criminology;
• Danielsville: Colin Fox of Danielsville, master’s degree in nursing;
• Effort: Ryan Stewart, DPH in pharmacy and a MBA; and Michelle Lawrence, masters in education;
• Jim Thorpe: Kelsey Carroll, BSN (nursing), and Kaitlyn O’Neil, BSN (nursing);
• Kunkletown: Keara Dugey, BSN (nursing);
• Lansford: Megan Wagner, master’s in education;
• Lehighton: Cole Wenner, DPH in pharmacy and an MBA; Shelby Brazes, Bachelor of Arts in criminology; Sarah Markovich, DPH in pharmacy;
• Nesquehoning: Kyrsten Leiby of Nesquehoning, master’s in education;
• New Ringgold: Sarah Fink, master’s in education, and Raven Wesley, Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater;
• Palmerton: Ashley Robertson, Bachelor of Arts in elementary and early childhood education pathway;
• Slatington: Sean Bachman, master’s in education; Brian Stevko, EDD in educational leadership/educational technology, and Jason Pepe, DPH in pharmacy;
• Tamaqua: Kaleb Mushock, Bachelor of Science in financial investments and a Bachelor of Science in corporate finance; Zachery Frie, Bachelor of Science in computer science; Olivia Mottern, master’s in education;
