Mark Sverchek was installed as the new president of the Lansford Lions Club during its program Monday in the Viennese Villa, Coaldale. He succeeds Robert Forest.

Other officers who were installed are Thomas Parambo, first vice president; John J. McDonald, second vice president; William Z. Scott Jr., third vice president; William J. McDonald, secretary; John J. Shober, treasurer; Joseph Modrick, assistant treasurer; Theodore Puschak, lion tamer; and W. McDonald, tail twister.

Named to the board of directors for a two-year term were Forrest and W. Richards, while George B. Richards was named to the board for a one-year term.
