Walnutport Borough Council took the following action on Thursday:

• Amended a motion from council’s April 11 meeting in which council agreed to spend $3,200 to replace trees at the Veterans Memorial Monument on Washington Street. The price on the trees came in at $3,500, instead of $3,200.

• Approved payment of $28.75 for conservatorship court filing costs, litigation costs process server retention for service, and approved process and validation fee of $275 and any additional processing fees to complete service for the blight property at 645 Lehigh Gap Street.

• Agreed to reimburse Donna Ziegler $320.83 for real estate taxes due to disabled veteran’s exemption.

• Appointed Thomas F. Andreas as an alternate on the zoning hearing board.
