The Coaldale State General Hospital Board of Trustees last night elected George A. Pinkey of Hometown to succeed the late Charles J. McFadden of Summit Hill as its chairman.

Pinkey, a current employee of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, served as president, secretary and treasurer of the Hometown Fire Company and is the vice president of the Democratic Club of Rush Township.

During the reorganization, Florence Tarlton of Lansford was named vice chairperson, Michael Serina, Lansford, secretary, and Stanley Brudish, McAdoo, treasurer.

Other trustees are Michael Butcher of Lake Hauto, Martin Rowan of Tamaqua, Martin Kovich of Nesquehoning, Margaret Sharpe of Coaldale and Irene Pribila of Summit Hill.
