The 13th Annual Banquet of the Korean Last Man’s Club was held on Saturday at the Shoemaker-Haydt American Legion Post 314, Lehighton.

The club includes 167 members. Ronald Kuntz was remembered as the only member who passed away in the last year.

Sherwood Troutman and William Newton presented toasts to the dead and living members of the club, while Chaplain James Wentz offered the prayer.

The club’s creed is “For God and country, we associate ourselves together tonight, to memorialize our departed comrades and for the living veterans we consecrate and sanctify or comradeship by devotion to mutual helpfulness.”
