Franklin, Berlinsville record wins

Franklin Township won its second straight game in Lehigh Valley Senior Connie Mack action Monday, while Berlinsville posted a victory in Blue Mountain League play.

Northampton

Runs in the sixth and seventh innings helped Franklin Township secure a 3-1 win over Nazareth in Lehigh Valley Senior Connie Mack action.

Brady Stubits (RBI, double), Cole Dietz (RBI), Jake Lewis (two runs scored) and Zoltan Bedocs (stolen base) all had two hits for Franklin (5-1), which pushed across a run in the top of the sixth and seventh innings. Dietz was dominant on the mound, striking out nine while scattering six hits across seven innings.

Tyler Borger doubled for Northampton (5-2), while Zachary Hartzell had a hit and drove in a run in the bottom of the fourth inning to tie the game at 1-1.

BLUE MTN. LEAGUE

Hellertown-Berlinsville

Berlinsville held on to top Hellertown 4-3 in Blue Mountain League action.

Eli Angstadt was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored, while Owen Ness went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a walk as the Braves (5-4) took a 3-0 in the bottom of the first. Noah Snisky (stolen base) and Shane Fillman (run scored, walk) each had a hit in the win. Sean Rivera tossed five strong innings to earn the victory, while Gavin Pritchard pitched two scoreless frames to earn the save.

Jim Kennedy was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Royals (0-8). Elias Gross also had a hit and drove in a run.
