State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• J.W. Zaprazny Inc., Summer Valley Road, East Brunswick Township, New Ringgold, is the victim of a theft by deception/credit-ATM card theft reported to police at 8:07 a.m. May 24.

Police said it was reported $1,000 was removed from the company’s bank account.

• A 53-year-old Tamaqua man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police conducted a traffic stop at 9:22 p.m. May 24 on Interstate 81 in New Castle Township.

Police said stopped for a Motor Vehicle Code violation while driving a 2016 BMW.

• David McBride, 38, of Mahanoy City, was cited for disorderly conduct after police were dispatched to a disturbance at 9:36 a.m. May 25 on North Main Street in Shenandoah.

A 44-year-old man from Coopersburg reported McBride was yelling at customers entering and exiting a store, causing a public disturbance.

• A 49-year-old Pottsville man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police conducted a traffic stop at 8:36 p.m. May 26.

He was stopped for a traffic violation while driving a 2016 Chevrolet Trax on Interstate 81 northbound in Mahanoy Township.

• A 27-year-old Tamaqua man was cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a disturbance at 7:32 p.m. May 27 in Mountain Road in Walker Township.

A 52-year-old Tamaqua woman who told police an argument took place between family members that eventually turned physical. Police said the man left the scene before their arrival.

• A 36-year-old Hazleton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after an incident police responded to at 4:40 p.m. May 14 on Interstate 81 in Delano Township.

Police said he was the operator of a Ford Focus and admitted to police that he smoked marijuana prior to driving.

• Police are investigating the theft of a 2009 Harley-Davidson from a 56-year-old man from Pottsville.

He reported the maroon/burgundy cycle was stolen from Railroad Lane, Cass Township, at 12:08 a.m. May 15.
